There are several field trips scheduled for this school year.  If you are interested in being a chaperone for one of our fun and interesting trips please contact the school's main office to appropriate the required forms.  To drive students you will need proof of insurance, a DMV clearance and a background check in order to participate.  We realize that this is a lot of paper work and footwork and apologize for that.  We encourage you to start early in the year.

Our trips this year will be to The Exploritorium in San Francisco with the entire 7th grade class. We will be travelling by bus for this event. Contact me or Ms. Erickson, Science teacher.

There are many opportunities to volunteer in the classroom. Some parents help by making copies, grading tests or hosting our hampster for the weekend.  We also have a classroom garden that requires about 30 minutes  a week of volunteer work.  Anyone willing to help students with weeding, watering and planting please contact Ms. Rynhoud or Ms. Baker, our P.E. teacher.

CLASSROOM VOLUNTEERING

If you are available to help tutor students in study skills class or afterschool your help would be greatly appreciated. There are Study Skills classes during every class period of the day and we would love your help! Study Skills class will focus on math on Tuesdays and Thursdays and Reading and Spelling on Mondays and Fridays.
